Depois de alguma competição, Zhang Zhenlong ganhou a medalha de ouro da maratona masculina em 2 horas 23 minutos e 42 segundos, ding Yiming e Li Zepei conquistaram o segundo e terceiro lugar, respectivamente. Chen Linming won the women's marathon with a time of 2 hours 43 minutes 45 seconds, breaking the race record. Zhang Rongxin and Zhang Lei won the second and third place. As meias corridas masculina e feminina foram vencidas por Ma Zhanchuan e Li Jing, respectivamente.

On race day, a total of 20 refuelling stations are set up along the track to provide supplies. In view of the possible high temperature, the organizing committee will provide perfect cooling services for the participants. In terms of medical security, fixed medical stations will be set up every 2.5 kilometers from 5 kilometers to ensure that all participants finish the race safely.
